Anglian Water – Keep It Clear
Keep It Clear is Anglian Water’s campaign to help reduce the misery, cost, bad smells and potential flooding and pollution caused by avoidable blockages.
Help keep the water flowing and the sewer system clear to do the job of taking used water and sewerage away from our homes and businesses.
It doesn’t matter whether you’re a resident or work in the food service industry, there’s something we can all do.
Lincolnshire Community and Voluntary Service works with Anglian Water to spread the Keep It Clear message.
Fat of the Land
Anglian Water’s Keep It Clear ‘Fat of the Land’ Composting Challenge, in association with Lincolnshire Community and Voluntary Service (LCVS), is designed to get people growing flowers and vegetables using composted food waste.
This is to raise awareness of the possibilities for recycling food waste and fats which can otherwise block drains and be harmful to the environment.
Small amounts of fat and food waste can be composted as specialist composting bins are now available to make it easier.
