Boston Town Area Committee (BTAC), which operates as a town council for Boston, has a small grant scheme to help worthwhile projects.

Formally-constituted town-based community groups and organisations can apply for up to £1,000 towards projects which have a benefit to the BTAC area and its residents.

Funds can be used for a wide range of purposes, from start-up costs to purchase of a range of goods and services.

Applications will be scored against criteria. Those which do not meet the funding threshold will not go before the committee.

Projects which have received BTAC grants in the past have included activities for children and young people, neighbourhood groups’ community events, environmental enhancements such as a bike track for a playing field, refurbishing and renovating war memorials and equipment for sports groups.
