Boston Community Transport is a registered charity, providing a low cost door to door transport service for the local community who are unable to access existing transport.
The transport is provided by volunteers and is available for people needing to attend appointments such as doctors, hospital and dentists as well as offering them the opportunity to go to local community functions or visit family and friends.
It is looking for an all-round champion and ambassador for the organisation. As an experienced coordinator you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational, co-ordination and administrative management of the service, including liaising with the volunteers, suppliers, external organisations, service users and trustees.
The ideal applicant will be organised, pro-active, self-motivated, creative, enthusiastic and work effectively under pressure. Excellent office skills and a good working knowledge of computer applications are essential. You will be an excellent communicator, both written and oral, with good report writing and minute-taking skills, marketing and business development experience, and a good understanding of finance. The role is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
