Guest speakers will present funding opportunities for community groups and projects at a forthcoming Voluntary Sector Forum in Stamford.

The free forum, hosted by Lincolnshire Community and Voluntary Service (LCVS), is for anyone who is involved with local community organisations and charities or has an idea for a community project.

It is a place to share best practice, explore ways of overcoming voluntary sector issues and hear the latest news through a range of speakers.

There will also be an opportunity for networking during the event over a bring-and-share lunch.

Speakers will include a representative from The Big Lottery Fund.

There will also be an opportunity to learn about Lincolnshire County Council community funding and South Kesteven Community Fund.

Those who wish to stay for the networking section are asked to contribute items for a bring-and-share lunch. Teas, coffees and biscuits will be made available.

The forum will be held 10am to 1pm, Tuesday, October 16, at Christ Church, Green Lane, Stamford PE9 1HE.

Availability is limited and guests must sign up via the LCVS course guide page:
