Lincolnshire Community and Voluntary Service
Volunteering
Supporting volunteers and finding suitable opportunities for them to use and grow their skills is at the heart of LCVS’s work.
We also help community groups recruit suitable volunteers in a variety of roles to enable them to carry on the good work they do in the community.

For Individuals
Whatever your interest there’s a volunteering role for you.
LCVS is in regular contact with community groups and charities who are looking for people to support them in hundreds of ways, with roles in administration, gardening, supporting the police, children’s activities, befriending, heritage, fundraising, youth work and much, much more.
For Organisations
Volunteers can add diversity to your organisation, providing different skills, knowledge and experience.
Here at Lincolnshire CVS we can support your community group or voluntary organisation to find and recruit volunteers.
For Employers
Employer Supported Volunteering (ESV) is about employers encouraging their employees to make a difference in the local community by volunteering.
ESV is a great way to help your employees learn new skills, grow in confidence and gain new contacts within the local community.
Why volunteer…
There are many valuable reasons to get involved in volunteering.
To give back to your community
To develop news skills and gain new qualifications
To meet new friends
To gain experience in a working environment
To use your skills
To build your confidence

Lincolnshire CVS runs accredited Volunteer Centres in Boston, Spalding, Grantham and Louth, as part of Volunteer Centres Lincolnshire.
