Featured on this page are just a few of the organisations in Lincolnshire that need new trustees, this Trustees’ Week (Nov 13-17), to help ensure they can continue.
David Fannin, Lincolnshire Community and Voluntary Service chief executive, said: “Trustees play a very important role in charities and local life. Becoming a trustee can be really rewarding and is a great way of sharing or gaining skills and experience. If you or someone you know has something to offer, why not contact us and give it a go.”
Trustees are the people in charge of a charity. They help to make the UK the sixth most giving country in the world. They play a vital role, volunteering their time and working together to make important decisions about the charity’s work. Trustees’ Week is an annual event to showcase the great work that trustees do and highlight opportunities for people from all walks of life to get involved and make a difference.
