Lincolnshire Community and Voluntary Service is working with Anglian Water to help Boston residents save water. As part of this campaign, we held our first Children’s Primary School poster competition for ages 4 -11. Their goal was to demonstrate the different ways of how we can all save water in the home.
We are happy to say that the competition went very well and the posters are all on display in St. Boltoph’s Church. Our thanks to St. Boltoph’s Church, Anglian Water and Lincolnshire Community and Voluntary Service for judging the entries. It was a difficult task with so many lovely entries and we are pleased to announce the winners:
🎉Jake Adams, Boston St. Mary’s RC Primary School. The judges loved the layout and use of colour and it included lots of great tips for saving water too.
The two runners up were:
🎉Jacob Hicks, Kirton Primary School. The judges loved the colours, it is a very eye-catching design and wonderful drawings too.
🎉Ania Clark, Stickney C of E Primary School. Ania gave lots of tips in her poster and we loved her statements: Save our earth and water and never give up!
Congratulations to all our winners! The schools are to each receive a certificate and a bag of wildflower seedballs, our competition winner, Jake will receive a voucher and a bag of nature themed goodies, and Jacob and Ania will each receive a bag of nature themed goodies.
Our thanks to Boston St. Mary’s RC Primary School, Kirton Primary School and Stickney C of E Primary School for supporting the competition and for the children’s entries.
