Lincolnshire Community and Voluntary Service is working with Boston Big Local to help improve local amenities and open spaces in the Boston Big Local area.  We will be organising community projects over the next few months, and we want to hear from residents regarding the projects they would like us to carry out.

In October we will be working with Boston Borough Council and planting some new raised beds in Central Park.  Anglian Water has kindly agreed to sponsor the project and will be paying for the plants. We will be using drought tolerant plants to encourage water saving in the garden.  If you would like to join in this project, please get in touch:

Planting Project, Raised Beds, Central Park, Boston

Date:  Tuesday 6th October 2020

Session Times: 10.00 am – 11.00 am and 1.30pm – 2.30pm

So that we can ensure a safe project, we are limiting participants to four and places must be pre-book by emailing:  If you book a place, you will then be sent joining instructions.

We are delighted to have support from Scott House and the Prince’s Trust, and they will be litter picking with us later in October.  We will be organising future litter picks in the Boston Big Local area and if you would like to take part, please get in touch with Jackie Lane, Lincolnshire Community and Voluntary Service, email:
