Social Prescribing Support Service Administrator

Scale 3-7 (£18,886 – £20,443) per annum, pro rata plus 6% employer pension contribution

Lincolnshire Community and Voluntary Services (LCVS) are looking to recruit a Support Administrator for our Social Prescribing team.

Social prescribing can help to strengthen community and personal resilience. It reduces health inequalities by addressing the wider determinants of health, poor housing, and physical inactivity, by increasing people’s active involvement with their local communities. Our team of link workers support people who have been referred to the service either through self-referral, by GP’s, or from community and health partners.

The successful candidate will be a key member of the support team, providing administrational support that enables the social prescribing service to operate effectively and efficiently to support the social prescribing team and our those engaging in our service, you will also form part of the team that provides an effective service and contributes to the strategic development of Lincolnshire’s social prescribing offer.


You will work closely with the Support Manager, Service Strategic Leads, and Link Workers to:

  • Provide excellent administrational and support services.
  • Provide high level communication to external partners within the health and social care sector.
  • Process enquiries, allocate and reported in accordance with our NHS contract.
  • Assist in developing processes and systems that create efficiencies and improve productivity of the team.
  • Ensure high levels of data is handled promptly, accurately, and securely.


You must be adaptable able to manage multiple priorities effectively within time constraints and in a fast-moving environment.

You will be required to provide a flexible approach to service needs as the system changes and new pressures are put on the service that will require additional support services.
